Calm before the storm

It was a lovely calm morning this morning, which is more than can be said for this evening. This is my view, which I do love and appreciate most of the time.

I didn't get to work from home today, as I was being trained. We are going to implement a new portal and electronic document system on our HR payroll system, which is very exciting but a bit daunting with the amount of work that will have to be done initially. I do love learning new things though.

I took E&H to Girl's Brigade tonight (nearly blipped a photo of them in their uniforms), and then went tor a swim. I was the only one in the pool, it was great apart from the fact that there had to be a lifeguard hanging around. The coloured lights were making some interesting effects and I wished for my camera. You are not allowed to take photos in the pool, but I wonder if they would let me when it was empty?
