A Quiet Summer Like Day

It was in the lower eighties today with a bit of humidity in the air. The bees and butterflies came out and were feasting on the dahlia's in my neighbors yard. This butterfly was really pretty but refused to show it's good side to the camera. So a facial shot it is... Not bad up close...

It was nice to be out of the car and back home today. I caught up on laundry and have been slowly going through the 1000's of pictures I took over the last 10 days. In between, I've been giving lots of attention to the dogs and cats.
