The Wave Cloud..In The Dog/Cat House.....&....

My Birthday.

Its been raining and mizzy all day so it was a good excuse to stay in bed this morning while the kids went out and got special pastries for my Birthday breakfast....
I got woken with cards and pressies from the kids...oh and a cup of tea.
...I'ts been a day of birthday phone calls..........flowers .....birthday wishes ....much kindness and generosity...lovely food and .....errrrrrrr! cleaning the house.
It had to be done...we have a guest arriving tomorrow and things have to be  at least a little ordered......which is easier said than done with a 6 year old and 2 baby furry monsters.
The celebration will continue for a while though...I think as one gets older it's hard to take in too much frivolity all at once and then P and I take off for our adventures in a week or so.

How incredible is this cloud....it reminded me of the famous Hokusai wave painting...had to post with those noisy corellas doing their thing in the foreground.

The extra is of the usual suspects....in the dog and cat house ...relegated to the verandah for a few hours....They were both very very naughty and ate a whole tupperware container of dog treats....there was more....which I wont mention.....little buggers.
When I came out onto the verandah they were cuddled up on the chair together...really cute....however not cute enough to melt this hard and cold birthday heart ....yet.

Might try and get an early night tonight...picking Sleepy up earlyish ...let the fun and adventures begin.
