We had every change of weather you can get today.  This was taken on our way back from Seaton where although the tide was out,  sunshine  upstream over Colyton made it look fine for a while.
Re the birds shadow from yesterday, last evening we found the bird trying to find shelter in the garden but this morning we found it dead and partly eaten. Such is life
