CAMELS YOUNG AND OLD
The weather forecast had foretold rain in the afternoon, and that made us go to Trendelburg in the morning. The sky complete blue, and it was difficult to imagine that soon it would rain.
When we arrived in Trendelburg all the camels lay in a circle still sleeping.
One after another stood up. They started to eat grass. They ignored me completely. A car stopped nearby and I saw that a little girl began to wave to the camels through the open window. The camels did not blink for one moment.
It was a funny sight when this little one mounted between the lumps of the lying one, scratching herself to get rid of the itching. Something one could see better in a film.
When I had taken enough photos we drove a bit further, and walked to Abgunst, consisting of four or five farms. We saw a swan pair in the pond, obviously very angry with another swan who stood on the shore.
No way this one could enter the water. After some time he took off, flying away to find a better place for himself.
I show the swan pair in an extra photo.
It was a nice walk, the surroundings of Trendelburg are so pretty, and colourful in autumn.
