THE THREE MINERS!!

Hi there to all my dear blip friends. As you know I am in Wales at the moment. This photo is taken, as we were kitted out, ready to go underground into the mine. The place is called "The Big Pit" it is awesome here!  They have put so much effort into it too. we had a 45 minute tour, and we learnt so very much. The man that took us around had been a miner there, and he was telling us all the history. So sad to think that 6 and 7 year old children were there for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, in darkness. it was brutal!! Our children today wouldn't survive, I am sure!. We thoroughly enjoyed it here. Unfortunately we couldn't take our cameras or phones down there, due to dangers of methane gas. They won't take the risk. We were allowed to take photos before we entered the cage to descend underground. In the photo is Andrew (my Son), katrina (his girlfriend) and of course, me!
Anyway, I am sorry if I haven't been able to catch up with you all on here, but there isn't any wifi here. I have borrowed some from Katrina's iPhone.
