Across the Pond

Today was one of those working Saturdays and this pond is in the ground of the house. It all looks very serene but the reality was very windy with heavy showers.

I've missed some of the things I've been getting invited to on Saturdays but the surprise I left for homeward bound person was enjoyed.

I had a phone call in the afternoon asking for help with a fence panel which had blown down, that is now temporarily but securely fixed back in place and dog proof.

We then collected a take away and took it to the house of a genuinely lovely and interesting couple who were a pleasure to meet, what a nice evening.
