With a wet morning forecast we decided to drive to Grasmere, get our shopping from the Co-op and a coffee from the garden centre cafe. Success with the food shop and we found  packs of fresh raspberries marked down to a bargain price. The coffee and cake however fell well below the usual standard. We will try the new cafe at the art studio next time. 

I took photos from the porch at the garden centre and was surprised at how many had rain marks on …….. this one seems ok. Behind the orange tree is Grasmere church, covered in scaffolding while work is done on the tower.
