Marc Chagall and All Saints Church
A small church in the middle of nowhere has stained glass windows designed and painted by Marc Chagall.
A bittersweet tale of a young girl drowned aged 21 so her parents asked him to make the windows. The main window shows her dead and then being taken up the ladder to heaven. It is glorious.
We visited it today and were astounded by the colours, the simplicity, naivety, and just generally amazed to find such treasures in this delightful little church.
