Smudge among the plants

A bright day, weather-wise, but very cold and windy.

Were the cats pleased to see us? They did not go overboard to greet us nor did our feathered babies. I think our lovely Australian house sitter had spoiled them too much. She has cared for them so well and we returned to very contented animals.

We took her to Gatwick Airport today where she caught a flight for a two week stay in the sunshine in Portugal.I said I would go in her place but she did not take me up on the offer.
