Robin and Toast

Today we were guests at a lunch hosted by Robin and Vicki.
 
We  were there to toast Vicki’s success .She is on the short list for the  crime fiction Diva Literary Prize.
 
What makes this really special is that Vicki has not gone down the route of traditional publishing but is using all the tools of new media to get her work out and about.
 
She has no idea how she came to be amongst  the six to be nominated and she says she is up against some stiff competition . Also shortlisted  is Val McDermid .
 
   
I blipped Vicki some months ago during Artbeat- Forth Valley Open Studios- where her husband ,Robin, was among a group of artists exhibiting work
