Box room
It's a world of laughter
A world of tears
It's a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all
Claire and I plant bulbs in the polytunnel. The rope suspending the mouse-proof propagator snaps. Some purple sprouting broccoli is damaged, but we are unscathed.
Hamish pays a flying visit to collect his stuff. He's been offered a management job at a fish farm and is off to sort out accommodation. Fingers crossed - he's had more than his share of bad luck over the years.
Angus and I collect some well rotted manure from Stobo. We manage to get the trailer half way up the garden before unloading it - there was just no way the car was going to get further.
After a hurried snack of leftovers, I return to yesterday's wiring and complete it. Both circuits are working and the breaker is remaining solidly connected. A satisfying job.
Then we take Angus' bed into town - he's moving into a box room in the flat. We play around for half an hour, but there is just no way to get the bed to fit in the width of the room. Once it's lengthways, we Fi the desk will only fit against the end wall once we remove the bottom three drawers. This is a very small room.
Back home, I receive news that a separate circuit at the barn has tripped. Resetting the breaker a couple of times has blown something serious and now they have a total power outage. Under Boron's telephonic supervision, I check the main 100A and 60A fuses, but they both seem fine.
I wonder how fixing the exterior lights managed to unbalance the entire system. It seems highly unlikely that it's just a coincidence. We'll have to wait for Boron to come and diagnose the issue tomorrow.
