A wee saunter...

...along Newcastle prom this morning. It was misty but mild...a wee smir of rain in the air. It was grand.

Then a coffee with the Rooster’s birthday cake cutting. We were too full after our lovely birthday dinner out on Thursday and last night time got away from us. This was a perfect time for it as the other Gallagher boys had just finished their karate lessons so they joined us at Nanna and Papa Gallagher’s house. It was a fine gathering:-)

Back and got the car sorted out for the return journey home then chilled for a bit before setting off on that.

It was a fine crossing. First time we have done it in the dark as up to now we would have been summer travellers. Back in Stirling just around 00:30.

Grateful for a few days with family. Good times.
