EGRET IN A TREE....

.... as we took to the mighty Nepean River this morning for a "first" excursion walk of the newly formed Blackheath Photographic Club - Hobbs wanted me to organise a bird walk. We did a section of the "Great River Walk" along the river.

It was the perfect morning after a massive storm last night - and 11 of the 15 members were able to join the fun.

The birds must have known we were coming as this egret took to the tree top to watch what we were up to.

Everybody had a top walk, and some top pics taken.
