Harbour Reflections
I spent the morning doing house chores and badminton chores, while also getting ready for BB’s and my week away. TT was tidying the garden. We eventually left and had a very slow journey to Crail. We got stuck on the Edinburgh bypass for ages and then at the approach to the new bridge. It was our first time across the new bridge, although we had sailed underneath it last weekend. We eventually got to our holiday home for the week, and went straight out to buy a late lunch. We then had a lovely wander around Crail taking in all the things BB wanted to see – the harbour, the coastal path, the play parks, the outdoor gym, the football pitch, the skate park and he had to check that the chip shop was still there!
Later we had yummy fish and chips for tea and then watched Strictly.
Here are a couple of boats in Crail harbour. I love the stonework of the harbour wall.
