FOG
Glad I wasn't leaving on the Scillonian this afternoon. A fog coloured boat, setting off in a boat coloured fog, and sounding her fog horn until out of hearing range.
This morning though we trundled off in the fog and After A Long Time saw the Dusky Warbler. Well, bits of it at different times on different branches, but it was making all the right noises. A smart Grey Wagtail was about, extra, and a Kingfisher, too quick for an extra.
My second extra is a worry. I thought I was looking at an aerial where someone had added five little metal people sitting on the bar. How cute. Until G pointed out the black bits were just parts of the aerial. Perhaps I'm not seeing quite straight yet after the concussion.
