Towels at the ready

In contrast to the sunshine for the first schools cross country of the season, this one couldn't have been much wetter. Understandable C was a reluctant starter but her friends soon encouraged her to join in. She stuck with them for the first lap and a half, more or less at the back, but she picked up the pace at the end and did some serious overtaking coming in 39th out of 80+.
