Keep Clear

On the way to football. For a lot of the game it felt like we would never score as chance came and went. Worse still, after our early pressure they scored three in quick succession. We did at last get on the scoresheet but they went further ahead to lead 5-1 and then when we pulled another back they immediately went up the other end to score. But somehow we got our act together at the end and were pressing for the equaliser when the next guys on the pitch appeared and their goalkeeper left the pitch as quickly as possible to prevent us having one more attack. After our early misfortunes in front of goal, a 5-6 defeat almost felt like success. Once again I seemed to be in more of an assisting role, with only a couple of half chances myself (which didn't add up to one goal, sadly).
