KL by night

I have some friends, whom I very much admire, who will apply themselves quite extraordinarily to anything in which they take an interest (hello, Ash!). For myself, I'm more of a dilettante. 

Consequently, my knowledge of the technical aspects of photography drifted along for, I reckon, about three years before I met Simon Not Quite Light, who, one evening, in The Millstone explained to me some of the basics which made a significant difference to my subsequent photographs. 

And then, at this year's Bluedot festival, I attended his low light photography course, which was excellent. To be honest, I doubt that my efforts reflect how good it was but here is Kirkby Lonsdale tonight.
