Family Quilt

The quilt on the left was made by my Mum’s Grandma while she was pregnant with my Mum’s Dad. It belongs to my Auntie and Uncle now and is looking very worn.
My Mum is making them a replacement as a surprise gift. The original was made with old shirts and the new one will be too. The right is the patches she has made so far, I spent quite a while cutting up shirts on Friday.
Helped start funeral arrangements today. It was another very strange experience but I feel better having actual jobs to do.
