A Victorian Pier

This is the pier at St. Anne's on Sea - Nr. Blackpool.  A rather nice Victorian Pier, completed in 1885.  Now a Grade II listed building.
After a stroll along the promenade, we drove through 'The Lights' (Blackpool Illuminations) down to Fleetwood where Mrs MD treated us to a romantic supper for two.  Fish & Chips sat on the Esplanade at Fleetwood looking across the Wyre Estuary towards Knott End.  We know how to live :-)
