Species geranium

Just think, all those blowsy geraniums we see these days are bred from species geraniums like this.  

To give you an idea of size (I really should have put down a coin or something) I guess from petal edge to petal edge it's less than half a centimetre.  

It's quite hardy in our heat (I never have to worry about cold hardiness) and it's a great ground cover.  But if you don't have your eyes open you'd easily miss it,
