View from Sugar Loaf

Not being super keen on heights or cable cars, the journey to the top was a little daunting. But it was well worth the fear... We decided to walk the first part rather than take the first cable car and that was a really lovely but a steep climb through shaded forest where we saw monkeys, humming birds and a great big lizard (I don't know it's real name) it was the size of a small cat - an iguana? Anyway... We went up in the second cable car to the summit and the views really were breathtaking. I hadn't realised quite what an amazing coastline Rio has. Then down for a splendid buffet lunch in the cafe on the beach.
