adding texture

I started my painting today. It's a big canvas and I covered it with a green colour to seal the surface (not sure what the proper term is), then later on I added big splodges of texture. I need more paint. I've left it to dry now. Not sure whether to pick a colour theme or have it all different colours. Mr I just wants it to be bright! Whatever, it's interesting.
