Sunflowers

It was too wet this morning to take the dogs the the already saturated paths and grass in the park so we enjoyed a more urban walk round the local streets finishing up walking through the grounds of Hampden Park.

These two sunflowers had been blown over in the recent blustery weather and were lying on the front lawn of one of the houses we passed on our walk.

Time now to find all the bits and pieces I need for patchwork class tonight .... I've been looking for my inch tape for ages but life is too short to spend it searching for something I can borrow from somebody else!
