Nîmes

A long drive today to Nîmes, where we wandered the city including the arena - the best preserved of all the old Roman Amphitheatres and in the top twenty for size too. I’m not at all fond of the bullfighting but it’s hard to ignore considering what else went on in the arena during gladiator times.
