Light ship 21

A light ship is one that is used where it is not possible to build a light house. This is Light Ship 21. Built in 1963 it was involved in a collision in the 1980s and after years of service around the east and south coasts of England including the Goodwin Sands off the coast from Deal it was finally retired to Gravesend in Kent. It is now being refurbished and used as an entertainment venue.
