Not a very nice day today, wet and miserable for a lot of it.  The drizzle did clear up eventually and I think the sun came out for a very short while this afternoon which gave me incentive to use my newish pole tree pruner.  So cut some branches from a plum tree which have been leaning on the garage roof for quite a while.  Shame they nearly brought the guttering down when the fell.

Walked Misty in the nature reserve at Bowness to look for autumn colour.  Haven't been there for a while.  It was very very muddy in places. Not much colour really but what I've blipped was definitely the brightest I saw.
