That sort of day

It has been a delayed and diverted sort of day , traffic wise.

It took almost 4 hours to get from home to the Parliament this morning - it normally takes less than three. .

Later I walked to my flat past queues of traffic stretching from the High St to Abbey Mount.

Then taking a taxi back from dinner I got caught twice by unexpected and badly signed road closures.
