Village pond, and crested duck.

Visited the lovely village of Boughton today - with lots of ducks and moorhen on and around the pond. Among them was a crested duck (see extra) - the pompom crest looked like a powder puff stuck on its head !
Pity the weather wasn't brighter - but at least it wasn't raining.
