We thought we were late.

Placebo. Brixton Academy. Acoustics not as good as the acoustics at the Albert Hall in Manchester, but the energy of the crowd was absolutely epic tonight.

Despite the lead singer having to adjust his vocals due to a throat problem, it was still fantastic. Sad that they didn’t do the second encore (Running up that hill), but glad I experienced it on the tour previously.

Tomorrow morning - brunch, then driving north. It’s been good to be down here. Next time will be Christmas .
