Straw Work

I was invited by Heather, who I met at last year's Flower Festival and had taught the straw courses I've been on this year, to go to her house and learn how to make leaves and roses. My plan is to use them to decorate greetings cards that I make using my photos.

We had a lovely day, chatting and plaiting. She also made me a lovely lunch of butternut Squash soup and homemade bread, perfect!

This is today's accomplishment, which I rather like. I have been invited to go again too.
