Dumgoyne

The sky says it all: a day of beautiful sunshine interspersed with heavy, but short-lived, showers.

I stopped the car on the way home from grocery-shopping in Milngavie, to blip this view of Dumgoyne on the edge of the Campsies. Any previous blips of it by me have been from the north/north-west, whereas this is more from the south.

The top of Dumgoyne was one of the many sites across the country where a beacon was lit to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee this year.
