The power of the Ocean

It was stunning early this morning down on the beach. The October sunshine is truly spectacular, and I can never resist taking photos of the ocean. It's due to be 25 degrees C this afternoon - very acceptable for October!
It was rather rough for swimming today, and I was just about to leave, having taken some shots of the waves, when this lone surfer appeared from behind the waves. I managed to grab a couple of shots. 
There's another in the extras, plus one of the crashing waves. They are all cropped from larger images - I was at the far end of my zoom lens.
