As I was in Edinburgh for a meeting of the COSLA Children & Young People Board and it finished earlier than expected I decided to chance a visit to Rosebery House to the YouthLink Scotland and Young Scot offices just in case any of my former colleagues were around. Bingo, Big Jim was indeed at his desk so we had a great catch up on the last six years since I retired from my Council CLD post. I do love when a plan comes to a successful conclusion but sometimes spontaneity is the only way to go!  It was a good morning meeting too, so worth the five am rise!
