The green belt.

Spent most of the day trying to sort out our home phone.
Broadband OK. but no phone.
Talk Talk checked everything and couldn't find a fault, so we arranged for an engineer to come out after we come back from holiday.
However we think the fault may be with the phone we have upstairs.
Have unplugged that phone and our downstairs phone is now working.
In the meantime Talk Talk have redirected all our calls through MrC's mobile phone.

Another warm day. Washing all dry.

Will see if the phone is still working tomorrow before we cancel the engineer. If it is our fault then we would have to pay £65.00.
