Last of the summer flowers

It's been a day of doing a few jobs in the garden. Sorting out a storage box and deciding what's to go to the tip seemed a good idea so I've reduced the amount of bits and pieces that just fill everywhere up. I did buy a paint stripper in about 1985 and I do not plan stripping the paint off a door ever again. Nor do I see any future use for wheel ramps. The nearest I would ever be to wheels is ringing the AA.
As a result of all this tidying I'm creating a space in the garden for possibly a mini greenhouse or garden furniture.

The blip is of the flower tubs which are bravely bursting forth in bloom despite the nights growing cooler, the winds with their icy blasts, and an excess of rain which would deter them.

Hopefully their colour will soon be replaced by the bright red berries on some of the plants and bulbs coming through in the spring.
