Sad day

Today I attended the funeral of a dear elderly gentleman. The church was packed with no seats left, but sadly his wife of 56 yrs could not attend as she is housebound.

The photo was taken in colour some months ago, but I wanted something for today's blip so, using the techniques I learned (for the 5th time of attending!!!) last week at photo class I managed to turn this into mono and pop the colour. Not perfect technically but its the first time I have managed to use layers for editing.
