Man or Mouse?

I went with the boys to Manchester City training ground again for a tournament. They played really well and just missed out on the semi finals. One of our lads kicked back over his head and narrowly missed scoring, but it is the boy who did his mouse impression next to him that made me laugh.

As it is National Poetry Day I thought I would mark the occasion....

Football Stars
Our boys were ready
All dressed in blue
They surged forward
As the whistle blue
Run
Kick
Shoot
Come on!
Hooray. Our lads win 2-1

The next three games
Were evenly matched
Our goalie saved many
Then victory was snatched.

They fought so well
It was a shame
So we'll practise more
For the next big game.
