Red Carpet Welcome!

Cynthia arrived home yesterday --16 hours late, though a few hours were spent in an hotel. Many flights were disrupted by tornadoes and heavy rain. I pulled out all the stops to welcome her, including making a large pot of my legendary Cuban black bean and smoked ham shank soup. It's not very photogenic!
