18 years apart

At the same time 8:19 pm on 25th October, 18 years ago, I was in Greenwich Hospital and the Dominion Theatre in London respectively. Today has been Hannah's 18th birthday, and to celebrate we went out for dinner followed by watching Gershwin's 'An American in Paris', which had special significance for Hannah, as she played a large section of it is part of the end of the performance at the end of her European Youth Summer Music course in the summer. The musical was spectacular, a real mixture of great music, songs and often balletic dancing. Hannah's 18 years to date have been equally spectacular - she is a wonderful daughter. Happy birthday!
