Wildlife

An adult pigeon flew into the window at work today. Made a huge bang. Poor thing took a few minutes to die. I felt awful as I went racing downstairs to rescue it only to then stand for a few minutes and watch it die. I wish I'd had the inner strength to break it's neck or something as I hate the thought that it had a painful death. I console myself with the fact that it probably didn't feel anything as it was too stunned...it's eye had come out of it's socket so it must have really crashed into the window. Sorry for the graphic explanation but these sort of things bother me.

I know I didn't blind the snail with the flash. He was happily wrapped up in his shell.
