The littlest fledgling is still mooching about with Mr. and Mrs., while the other two are keeping their distance; they were on the island today while the other three were on the shore.
Mr. and Mrs. went down into the wetlands behind Eagle Pond while the littlest fledgling preened near me; it still has heavy wings... When the fledgling followed, it seemed to look down on its parents rather wistfully.
