SCILLY SERANADE
Good walk through the Garrison this morning and saw Firecrests at last. Then a rare Grey-cheeked Thrush was found on St Martin's. I would have gone out to the island too, but the turnaround time for the boat landing there and then coming back would have only suited fit birders. I have stayed at home, packed a bit, and had the pleasure of listening to the trumpet player on the quay opposite.
