Riverside

 walked along the riverside this morning and was surprised to see and hear so much birdlife, Dippers singing and fishing, Crested Tits, Goldfinches, Woodpeckers, Goosanders, Crossbills, Mallard, Chaffinches , Wrens and Robins! All within a two mile stretch of wooded bank!
The squirrels have been on the feeder most of the day. Wonder if it's a sign of cooler weather on the way?
This afternoon was film club, 'What we did on our holidays', a Billy Connolly comedy and most enjoyable.
