Heading Home

A final breakfast with D&K, sad farewells after such a great time with them, then it was our first ever Uber ride to get to the airport. Spent a chatty hour with Stacey the driver, finding out just how well the job suits her even though she had to change her car from a Jag to a Ford.
Quite a few hours later and we were wandering Baltimore airport again and grabbing lunch - beer and a burger for me but the deep-fried dill pickles we shared were fantastic. Who knew?
Just a short hop then to Newark, possibly the most improved airport in the States, the surprise of a final, holiday sunset and to top it all off the best ever night view of Manhattan after we took off.
