Toledo, Spain

Today's Blip is taken from a viewpoint overlooking the city of Toledo....
You can see the Cathedral and the Alcazar (fortress) on the horizon......
We spent our morning walking through the old cobbled streets and enjoying the works of the artist El Greco.
.. ..at his house....a dedicated museum....and in the San Tomè church.

The old town of Toledo is protected by a large bend ( meander) in the River Tajo......which becomes the River Tagus when it arrives in Portugal, and flows through Lisbon into the Atlantic Ocean.
