Peter Brookes

Peter's new book of political cartoons is called 'Interesting Times'. 

The title has two meanings: he works for The Times newspaper and there is a Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times", which seems to mean difficult and tortuous times.

We do.

I asked him what his favourite drawing was, so he took me to the 'Nature Note' of a skunk with Trumps bottom.

His exhibition is at Chris Beetle's Gallery in St James's until 11th November. Tonight was the private view.
