1098. BCAM27 - Arras

An early upload of a photo I took late on yesterday as I knew there would be no photo opps on our way home this morning as it’s dark and we don’t stop along the way....

Visited Arras again and pleased to see the town doing its bit for Pinktober with the pink knotted ribbon high on the church steeple in the square...

Well here we are at the end of an excellent but poignant week in France looking at so many sites of historical significance.....

The highlight has to be meeting Cardinale and hearing her first hand account of saving a member of the French Resistance....sadly as Violets Szabo was injured she couldn’t save her too....
