Edinburgh Old College

5 months and 2 days after starting my job at Edinburgh University, I went to my induction! It was held in the Old College which I'd never visited before (I've largely found myself just in the medical school building where I'm based and had no need to go elsewhere). It was certainly a very impressive building, the room we were in was the Playfair Library which had marvellous ornate columns and incredible ceiling, I must admit to feeling a bit underdressed!
